1. Who we are
PixelTrend Analytics is an independent analytics and software engineering studio based in Singapore. In this policy, “PixelTrend,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to PixelTrend Analytics. For privacy questions or requests, email muthu@pixeltrendanalytics.com.
2. Information we collect
Project inquiries and communications
When you submit our contact form or email us, we may collect your name, email address, company, project type, approximate budget, message, and the contents of subsequent communications.
Technical information
Our hosting and infrastructure providers may process routine technical information such as IP address, browser type, device type, requested pages, timestamps, and security logs to deliver and protect the site. We do not currently use advertising cookies on this website.
Pinterest integration information
If a Pinterest account is connected to an application operated by PixelTrend, Pinterest provides the information and permissions approved during its authorization flow. Depending on the approved scopes, this may include account information, boards, Pins, and first-party performance or campaign analytics. We never ask for or receive your Pinterest password.
3. How we use information
We use information only as reasonably necessary to:
- respond to inquiries and evaluate, deliver, or support requested work;
- operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve our website and services;
- manage and publish PixelTrend-owned visual content to our authorized Pinterest business account;
- organize PixelTrend boards and review first-party content or campaign performance;
- comply with legal obligations and enforce our rights.
We do not use Pinterest information to build profiles about unrelated users, target people outside Pinterest, benchmark competitors, or take actions for another person without their specific knowledge and authorization.
4. Pinterest API practices
Our Pinterest integration is intended for PixelTrend’s internal business-account content management and first-party measurement. We request only the scopes needed for those functions. Pinterest information is accessed through the official API and is not scraped, sold, licensed, or shared with data brokers.
Except for permitted first-party campaign analytics, we do not retain Pinterest API content as a separate permanent database and instead request current information from Pinterest when needed. Authorization tokens are treated as confidential, used only for the authorized account, and retained only while the connection is active or as needed to provide the integration. Access can be revoked through Pinterest or by contacting us.
5. How information is shared
We do not sell personal information. We may disclose limited information:
- to service providers acting on our instructions, such as Supabase for inquiry storage and Hostinger for hosting;
- to Pinterest when you direct or authorize an action through its platform;
- to professional advisers where necessary and subject to confidentiality;
- when required by law, or to protect rights, safety, and security;
- in connection with a business reorganization, subject to appropriate safeguards.
6. Storage, security, and international processing
Website inquiry data may be stored in Supabase. Our providers may process information in countries other than your own. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards and select providers that offer appropriate protections. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
7. Retention
We generally retain project inquiries for up to 24 months after the last interaction, unless a longer period is needed for an active engagement, legal compliance, accounting, dispute resolution, or security. Pinterest authorization data is retained only while the integration remains connected or as required to complete an authorized action. We delete or anonymize information when it is no longer needed.
8. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or a portable copy of your personal information, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. You can disconnect Pinterest access in your Pinterest account settings. To make a request, email muthu@pixeltrendanalytics.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
9. Children’s privacy
Our website and integrations are intended for businesses and adults. They are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our services or legal obligations change. We will post the revised policy on this page and update its effective date. Material changes will be highlighted where appropriate.
